Description
This piece started with a round plate of copper. I drew lines with an acid resistant marker to represent pathways and journeys, most of which stop suddenly. Then I submerged the plate in an acid mixture that had sat unmixed for a while. This inhomogeneous mixture caused the strange murky textures on the plate. Then Through the Forest was printed with fine intaglio etching inks on high-quality white Arches paper.
Color: dark green
Measurements: image measures 12″ round
