This piece was inspired by a conversation about the importance of the record album to the progression of American music and the nostalgia the record album now holds. It is meant to reflect the decline of the record in its muted colors, but is still very appealing to the eye just as the record album is an appealing object to many. Relic was printed using an actual record album and fine intaglio etching inks. It is printed on high-quality white Arches paper. It is a one-of-a-kind monoprint. There are no other editions of this piece.
