Do you really need a LinkedIn profile?

I’ll cut straight to the chase: the answer is “yes”. You really should have a LinkedIn profile. You’d be shocked by how many people use LinkedIn to find speakers for conferences, workshop leaders, sources for media stories, and artists for features… in addition to artistic, interesting jobs you might actually enjoy – both freelance and permanent.

So today’s Action Step is to head over to LinkedIn and set up an account if you don’t have one already. Then go ahead, spend thirty minutes and fill out the info, headshot and all!
