There’s something about November 1st that suddenly puts everyone in a Christmas mood. I prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving to savor that holiday as well, but alas – the world has made it clear that I am to see reindeer and holly leaves everywhere as soon as I’ve stuffed my face with Halloween candy and well before I’m ready to stop eating pumpkin muffins.
If you’ve never had a Christmas season for your art before, you’re in for quite the experience. Let me tell you a little story…
Some of you are aware that my parents own a UPS Store franchise, which is a business that ships packages for people among other office services. Well, some 15-ish years ago they started their business with just the two of them and a part-time high school employee. Christmas came like a flash of insanity. The boxes didn’t fit in the store. The customer line was out the front door. And they were working late into the night, every single night.
Now for most of you, this won’t be your reality – thank goodness.
But I want you to be prepared for a busier two months than you’re used to.
So I created this little checklist to get you ready.
